Dr. X is originally from Maine. She went to college at X University, where she studied
art in addition to her pre-med studies. She earned her medical degree from the University
of Connecticut and completed her residency training at Yale-New Haven Children's
Hospital. Dr. X has a particular interest in the care of medically complex children and
adolescents. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, yoga and
running.


2. Accomplishments in field and affiliations, personal
Dr. X has thirty years’ experience in ophthalmic surgery, with special interest in cataract
surgery, corneal transplantation, and laser refractive procedures. He is a founding
member of Precision LASIK Group, Chief of Ophthalmology at The Hospital of Central
Connecticut and Co-medical Director of the Connecticut eye bank. In addition to his
surgical practice, he is on the board of Vision Health International, an organization
providing eye care and surgery to indigent patients in Central and South America.
Dr. X resides in Farmington, CT with his wife, and enjoys life with his two sons and two
grandchildren.

Prior to X, served in the U.S. Navy where he was the Chief of Dermatology at the
National Navy Medical Center, Assistant Residency Program Director at NCC and
Assistant Professor of Dermatology Laser and Phototherapy at NNMC, and provided care
to active duty military, retirees, congressional delegates and foreign diplomats to the U.S.
Congress. Has authored articles in dermatology journals and presented at the annual
meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.
